To Kill A Mockingbird - Make A Difference

This term in english we have been studying TO Kill A Mockingbird. I am bringing up this book not just to make an intellectually formed opinion of the book or to tell you all how good it is - it is really good, but you guys already know that, you've all read it bvy now right? I am bringing the book up simply to explore the bigotry of society.

If you think about it, To Kill A MOckingbird can teach us alot about corage, gtrowing up and aquiring knowledge. In fact it taught me quite a lot, things i never contemplated in depth before i'd read this book.. But most of all it made me reflect on the bigotry of society and how horrible some things in this world are. I mean the world isnt fair. Why is it that your life is determined on where you are born, the materialistic items you posses, the way you look, your religion, or the colour of you skin. Why is it that innocent people suffe so much more than teh drug dealers and mastermind criminals of society, why is it that so many people are riddled with diseases that can't be fixed; what did they do to deserve such consequences to be put upon them without any warning. It JUSt ISNT FAIR!!!

so what am i proposing to you is TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE;
i am all for being one to stand up for what you believe and to be responsible for your own actions. So i am asking you to do the same.

Ghandi once said that everything in life is pointless and meaningless and yet we go ahead and do it anyway!
i wantr to prove Ghandi wrong, i want to make sure that i make a difference and that someones liufe is changed for the better because of something i've said or something ive done!! - i am proposing you do the same.

We might be kids, but we have independant minds and whole hearts that are filled with passion for our dreams ansd hope. So use what you have and make a difference. You might not see the difference straight away; but onhe day it will come back to you, you will know you have chanegd something for the batter and i know that, that will be the best feeling in the entire world.

And how does this fit in with the idea of To Kill A Mockingbird....well, to be honest, it doesnt really, i just thought it was one of those books that really has the power to teach us about life and having to accept the horror but also having the power to change the world for the better.

GO AHEAD TRY IT....!!

Rambling To My Teenage Self

So,
how's life everyone??
life the question of life, what does life mean...who really care s(ok i do a bit) but for the purpose of this blog who cares?
i am a random teenager.....all i care about is murder mystery birthday parties where i'm the murderer, bets friends birthdays...and all friends birthdays, attempting to pull all nighters whilst making up lists of.....people( you know what i'm talking about em).

you know what gets me all the time, why our parents are so obsessed with controlling our lives whee they cant even control their own. Just stop telling us (me) to study, let me live a little, have a bit of fun, let me enjoy being a kid, dont make it a torturous time.. I mean my parents are pretty cool and all, but all they do is permanently watch over my shoulder to make sure i dont make ANY mistakes AT ALL irrelevant of what they are. What they fail to realise is that you have to fail something every once in a while if you want to learn. Getting everything right all the time just doesnt work... i wish they would let me choose my future and let me take control of my own actions and every once in a while let me suffer the consequences of those actions......i know the parents try to help...but...well, you get the point.

this is the first post of the RAMBLINg TO MY TEENAGE SELF blogs

i would like to take this blog to tell my friends how much they mean to me and that i miss u guys so much (u know who i am referring to) !!!

remember that there is nothing wrong with rambling to yourself, questioning why the sky is blue and picturing youself 10 yrs older in a world that will never be reality...it's called dreaming...dont forget to dream...because sometimes dreams can become hopes, if you hope really hard, you might be able to have the power to act to make those hopes a reality and before you realise it you are living the life of your dreams!!
i hope all my friends live the lives of their dreams and that nobody ever tells them that they can't do something. Because i am a firm believe of YES....I CAN REACH THE STARS IF I WANt TOO..SO YOU CAN TOO!!!

happy rambling,
