To Kill A Mockingbird - Make A Difference

This term in english we have been studying TO Kill A Mockingbird. I am bringing up this book not just to make an intellectually formed opinion of the book or to tell you all how good it is - it is really good, but you guys already know that, you've all read it bvy now right? I am bringing the book up simply to explore the bigotry of society.

If you think about it, To Kill A MOckingbird can teach us alot about corage, gtrowing up and aquiring knowledge. In fact it taught me quite a lot, things i never contemplated in depth before i'd read this book.. But most of all it made me reflect on the bigotry of society and how horrible some things in this world are. I mean the world isnt fair. Why is it that your life is determined on where you are born, the materialistic items you posses, the way you look, your religion, or the colour of you skin.Why is it that innocent people suffe so much more than teh drug dealers and mastermind criminals of society, why is it that so many people are riddled with diseases that can't be fixed; what did they do to deserve such consequences to be put upon them without any warning. It JUSt ISNT FAIR!!!

so what am i proposing to you is TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE;
i am all for being one to stand up for what you believe and to be responsible for your own actions. So i am asking you to do the same.

Ghandi once said that everything in life is pointless and meaningless and yet we go ahead and do it anyway!
i wantr to prove Ghandi wrong, i want to make sure that i make a difference and that someones liufe is changed for the better because of something i've said or something ive done!! - i am proposing you do the same.

We might be kids, but we have independant minds and whole hearts that are filled with passion for our dreams ansd hope. So use what you have and make a difference. You might not see the difference straight away; but onhe day it will come back to you, you will know you have chanegd something for the batter and i know that, that will be the best feeling in the entire world.

And how does this fit in with the idea of To Kill A Mockingbird....well, to be honest, it doesnt really, i just thought it was one of those books that really has the power to teach us about life and having to accept the horror but also having the power to change the world for the better.

GO AHEAD TRY IT....!!
